Cleveland, OH, June 15, 2018 – The Community Partnership for Arts and Culture (CPAC) honored the following public officials today for their work in fostering a robust arts and culture sector in Northeast Ohio:
“The benefits of the arts cannot be fully realized without the unique contributions from our local, state and federal public officials,” said Gary Poth, chair of the CPAC board of directors and Head of Key Family Wealth, Executive Managing Director, KeyBank N.A. “Their investment serves the public interest to ensure that everyone receives the benefits of the arts.”
The public officials were honored at the 4th Annual Public Officials Recognition Breakfast, hosted by CPAC at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
“As an important community builder and prosperity generator, the arts offer a distinctive blend of economic, educational and civic benefits,” said Megan Van Voorhis, president and CEO of CPAC. “We appreciate and value the important role our public officials play in advancing a strong arts and culture sector in our region.”
The Public Official Recognition Breakfast brings municipal, county, state and federal representatives together with the region’s business leaders and arts and culture constituents. The event is presented annually by CPAC, the principal advocate for arts and culture in the region.
