Be An Arts Advocate

Advocacy can be a daunting word for some, but helping inform public decisions is possible at every level. Nonprofits, although bound by government regulations, are essential to supporting the public process. Individual artists may feel isolated, but can organize and spur action through their ability and skill to express ideas creatively. Arts and culture is in a unique position to communicate our public value and inform community leaders throughout greater Cleveland.

This information is intended for both novice and expert. These articles and resources will arm you with the information you need to move your mission forward. And of course, you're not in it alone! Arts Cleveland is always here to field a question or find you resources to help you be successful. We offer on-site training for organizations' staff and board, and we are happy to meet with individuals with questions or to help solidify ideas. You are also more than welcome to meet us and a growing growing group of arts and cultural professionals and advocates at an Arts and Culture Roundtable.
